In February 2020, then 16-year old Oyindamola Aje's trajectory changed for good when, out of over 18,000 high school students entering the competition that year, he shone at the grand finale of InterswitchSPAK 2.0, earning 'bragging rights' as Nigeria's best #ScienceStudent that year...
Propelled by sheer brilliance, curiosity, tons of motivation (and armed with an #InterswitchSPAK scholarship!), this inspiring #SuperSPAK proceeded to get accepted at Texas A&M University. where he's recently completed a honours degree in Chemical Engineering. Presently counting down to starting a full time role at one of the world's leading energy majors out of California, USA, he shares his aspirations to return to Nigeria down the line, to play his part in transforming the local energy sector...
We were delighted to welcome him back to Nigeria and to #TheSwitch💡 (of course!) in the course of which he spent a whole day touring our Lagos offices, reliving his experiences over the last 4 years and even sitting down with 'Big Mitch' for coffee and some banter!😉
